About us

At Buen Camino our goal is to bring people together and expose them to Uruguayan culture and society while providing comfortable housing. From December to July we house backpackers and from August until the following December we house university students who have come to study abroad here in Montevideo. We only offer 16 beds to keep the group small and intimate which helps give guests a better feel for the city and life style. And to add to the experience we also plan local art shows, acoustic events, regional movie nights and asados.

What’s included?

Electricity, water, internet, communal computers, kitchen supplies, study area, sheets, pillows, heating during winter.

*Hostel guests are given a free breakfast as well.
